What wakes you up in the morning?
It could be your alarm after you’ve hit snooze 12 times, the light from a window, lawnmowers, roommates, or the panic of missing something. Most of the time when we wake up, we don’t want to get out of bed. We have to wake up rather than get up wake up.
How often do you wake up because you are excited to take on the world?
How often do you wake up feeling like you were made to do big things?
How often do you wake up with a burning passion to get something done?
I enjoy life a lot more when I wake up feeling like I’m made for something incredible rather than dreading class in the morning. I love waking up in the morning and feeling ready to accomplish big things. God didn’t make you to be mediocre. I know you have passions and dreams on your heart. Let those wake you up in the morning. Be so excited to move towards your calling that you can’t wait to get up in the morning.
I know a lot of people who rely on coffee to start the day, but I don’t understand the hype. I have had a total of 2 sips of coffee in my life, and in my opinion, it tastes terrible. I hear stories of people who drink 7 cups or an entire pot of coffee a day just to survive. What if we fill ourselves with excitement as much as some people like to drink coffee? What if we wake up in the morning and look at the great things in our lives instead of going straight to caffeine? What if every time we go to drink coffee or tea we remind ourselves of a certain talent or gift? Let those talents, gifts, and passions be the driving force behind your energy in the morning. Wake up with a different kind of attitude.
Believe you are here for something amazing.
Wake up thankful for the day you are given.
Wake up thankful for the opportunities in front of you.
I believe you are above average. God didn’t create you to be mediocre.
Let your dreams be as addicting as coffee.
I appreciate you.
